Job Title: Para Educator

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Para Educator to join our team. As a Para Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and therapeutic needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers with instructional activities and provide individualized support to students
  • Monitor and supervise students during transitional times, lunch, and school activities
  • Provide behavioral interventions and model ARC principles
  • Assist with substitute lessons and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in student meetings and staff meetings as required
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Two years of experience interacting with children/youth
