Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse/Float Pool

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Float Pool is a critical member of our nursing team, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the implementation of patient care activities. As a float pool nurse, you will rotate to designated units to help address staffing shortages and ensure the best possible care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Administer patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
* Collaborate with the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities
* Implement patient care activities and contribute to the team's efforts
* Comply with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures

Requirements:

* Diploma Program in Practical Nursing
* Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
* Certification to administer medications
* IV Certification required
* 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
* Strong organization and communication skills
* Ability to multitask and maintain a pleasant demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Hospital experience
* Basic computer knowledge
