Position Overview

The primary responsibilities of this role include the upkeep of Sundt-owned facilities, executing preventative maintenance, and conducting repairs on various office systems and equipment. This encompasses electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting tasks, among others. Additional duties include managing inventory, coordinating with vendors, interpreting blueprints, overseeing vendor operations, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and report major maintenance issues.
  • Ensure cleanliness of exterior areas, including parking lots and walkways.
  • Rearrange office furniture as needed, which may involve heavy lifting.
  • Conduct drywall repairs and painting tasks.
  • Perform minor repairs on electrical systems and appliances.
  • Address minor plumbing issues.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on various building systems and equipment.
  • Provide guidance on equipment and facility maintenance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Highly organized with effective communication abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes, gloves, and safety glasses.
  • Frequent reaching above shoulder height and below waist level.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending.
  • Use of electronic devices for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance with all safety standards and procedures is mandatory.
  • Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders.
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping, lifting, and handling objects.
  • Regular interaction with colleagues and clients throughout the workday.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
