Position Overview:

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Aide plays a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation team by managing various administrative and clinical tasks. This position is integral to ensuring smooth operations within the outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct initial charge reconciliations and track necessary documentation.
  2. Facilitate the return of required forms from healthcare providers.
  3. Perform essential tasks such as faxing, maintaining weekly inventory, and ordering supplies as necessary.
  4. Prepare and clean treatment areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  5. Assist staff in transferring patients and materials as needed.
  6. Support therapists by setting up and cleaning treatment spaces and managing patient transportation within the facility.
  7. Guide outpatients to the appropriate treatment areas and assist with front office tasks when time allows.
  8. Set up patients on modalities and exercise equipment as directed by therapists.
  9. Carry out assigned messenger duties and additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred for this role.

Experience:

Prior experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous, with a preference for candidates having at least one year of relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in computer operations is essential for this position.

Certifications:

Current BLS certification is required to ensure patient safety and care standards.
