Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis evaluation and counseling services to patients and their families.
  • Assist patients and their families in accessing community resources and support services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Document patient information in electronic health records.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
  • 3-5 years of hospital social work experience or direct clinical experience.
  • Knowledge of DSM IV categories and criteria.
  • Knowledge of ICD codes related to mental health and chemical dependency disorders.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW).
