About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Research Engineer/Scientist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing research and development projects related to environmental investigation and cleanup technologies, homeland security detection and decontamination technologies, and related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide technical support under contracts with the U.S. EPA
  • Oversee research and development projects, including technology testing and evaluation
  • Provide technical direction and manage a team of scientists and engineers
  • Develop and implement research projects involving technology testing and evaluation
  • Collaborate with federal clients and manage federal contracts and/or projects
Requirements
  • PhD in engineering or sciences
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading, managing, or carrying out research and development projects for EPA or other government research agencies
  • Experience working with federal clients and managing federal contracts and/or projects
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills
  • Computer modeling and database management skills desirable
