Job Title: Excavation Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Laborer to join our team at Roto-Rooter. As an Excavation Laborer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, performing manual labor in open excavations, and interacting with customers as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including backhoes and mini-excavators
  • Perform manual labor in open excavations, including digging and hauling materials
  • Interact with customers as needed, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work in confined spaces and open trenches, following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Collect monetary payment and move on to the next service call
Requirements:
  • Construction experience in both residential and commercial settings
  • Able to work in confined spaces and open trenches
  • Complete jobs within specified time lines
  • Current CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience a plus
