Excavation Specialist

Roto-Rooter is seeking a skilled excavation laborer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for operating backhoes and mini-excavators to repair and replace sewer and water services.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety procedures
• Interact with customers to provide excellent service
• Perform manual labor in open excavations
• Operate and maintain equipment
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches
• Collect payment and move to the next service call
• Interact with vulnerable populations, such as children or elderly
• Drive to customer locations in a timely and professional manner
• Enter customers' residences to provide trustworthy service

• Construction experience in residential and commercial settings
• Able to work in confined spaces and open trenches
• Meet job completion deadlines
• Hold a current CDL or obtain one within 90 days
• Trenchless water, sewer, and gas experience is a plus
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
