Key Responsibilities:
1. **Clinical Leadership:**
- Ensure the delivery of safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Act as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, guiding them in best practices and professional standards.
2. **Patient Care Management:**
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, implement, and manage patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
3. **Educational Development:**
- Identify and facilitate educational opportunities for nursing staff in collaboration with the Education Resource Center.
- Participate in competency validation activities to ensure high standards of care.
4. **Operational Oversight:**
- Assist in the coordination of unit operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Engage in daily huddles to address unit and employee matters, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Valid Maryland Registered Nurse License.
