Job Summary

The Member Services Representative Weekend Closer will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. This role requires a positive and professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fitness and health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing a superior level of customer service.
  • Front Desk Operations: Handle all front desk related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, new member sign-up, and taking prospective members on tours.
  • Account Management: Facilitate needed updates to member's accounts and respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Club Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Background: Preferred.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Required.
  • Passion for Fitness and Health: Essential.
  • Upbeat and Positive Attitude: Must.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: A must.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.
  • Strong Listener: With the ability to empathize and problem solve.
  • Diplomacy: Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
  • Education: High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and Walking: Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Talking: Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Lifting: Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
