Cylinder Head Technician

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cylinder Head Technician to join our team at Roush. As a key member of our engine component assembly and inspection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality parts are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality check and test engine components to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect cylinder heads and components
  • Make quality decisions based on the condition and life expectancy of parts
  • Measure and prepare components for re-assembly and testing
  • Keep accurate records of engine and component inspection results

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in machining close tolerance details for cylinder heads and/or automotive machine shop skills
  • Excellent shop math skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to port and blend cylinder heads
  • Experience with honing, boring, and decking engine blocks
  • Ability to move/lift 50 lbs.
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Ability to work overtime/weekends and ready/willing to complete all tasks as assigned
