We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Associate/Sonographer to join our team on a per diem basis. As a valued member of our Non-Invasive Cardiology department, you will provide clinical services to our patient population and demonstrate exceptional patient care and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist in the performance of echocardiographic procedures on adult inpatients and outpatients, utilizing standard 2D, color flow, Doppler, and M-Mode techniques and views as indicated and needed.
- Enter charges for exams performed and patient data/measurements into reporting systems.
- Act as a clinical resource and preceptor for new staff and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Serve on selected committees of the nursing, administrative, and medical staff as assigned by the Nurse Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiology.
- A graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school program.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible.
- Preferred: One year experience in Cardiac Ultrasound and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible.
