We are looking for an attorney with exceptional knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence, and trial strategy. The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and oral advocacy skills, as well as the ability to independently manage a caseload with time-sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling insurance defense cases, including discovery, depositions, and hearings. They will also be expected to work closely with our team to develop and implement effective trial strategies.

We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of in-office and remote work. Our office is located in downtown St. Petersburg, FL, and we provide a congenial and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications
  • Must have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
  • Must have an active license to practice law in Florida and be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • 3+ years of legal experience is preferred, with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation
  • Strong automation and technological skills for lawsuit handling and trials, including Word, Outlook, and Westlaw
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
