Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of occupational therapy needs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Therapy Delivery: Provide direct therapy to clients in individual or group settings, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies to promote engagement and progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support client progress and provide education and training to families and caregivers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of client conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Education: Must have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting is required, with a preference for experience working in a school setting.
  • Certification: Must be certified as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) and be in good standing with the relevant professional organizations.
