About the Opportunity

Beaufort Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our team in the Wellness Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in the daily coordination of care delivery for patients undergoing cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, PVD Rehabilitation, and High Risk clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, including clinical and business elements
  • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient goals and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions between clinical programs and the general Wellness Program
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a health-related field, preferably in an acute setting
  • BLS certification and ACLS preferred
  • Exercise Specialist Certification (ASCM-CEP) or Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) preferred
