Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Dentist to join our team at Coastal Health Alliance. As a Per Diem Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients at the Petaluma Health Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, periodontal tissues, and other related oral structures and their impact on the body.
  • Perform general dental hygiene and periodontal treatment, and provide patients with dental education.
  • Perform dental restorations, crowns, bridges, implant-supported restorations, and dentures; root canal therapy and oral surgery procedures; pediatric dentistry and orthodontic treatment according to your level of training and expertise and within the scope of the clinic's practice.
  • Manage the care of patients and provide necessary referrals with prompt follow-up.
  • Supervise and guide dental auxiliaries and front office staff with performing their duties, while working as a team to provide excellent care to our patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ADA-accredited Dental School.
  • Active dental license for the state of CA, with completion of CE requirements, including Dental Practice Act and Infection Control.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a Per Diem position, with a rate of $115 hourly.
