Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and advise on various insurance plans to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide expert knowledge to clients on risk management and policy selection.
  • Handle day-to-day insurance needs for clients, including reviewing insurance-related bills and investigating discrepancies.
  • Set up suspense/reminders to ensure bills are paid on time.
  • Complete and/or review annual insurance audits.
  • Ensure copies of all client auto ID cards and health/dental ID cards are current.
  • Correspond/communicate with insurance brokers or insurance companies for any discrepancies.
  • Request policy changes.
  • Handle day-to-day tasks of assigned clients, and assist department manager as assigned.
  • Maintain updated manifests for equipment, jewelry, and fine arts.
  • Provide premium breakdowns for all coverage lines.
  • Obtain or create summaries of insurance for meeting packages.
  • Submit for and obtain quotes as needed.
  • Make recommendations to improve existing coverage and point out any coverage deficiencies.
  • Handle renewals.
  • Research alternate options in coverage if there are large increases.
  • Handle insurance claims process, including filing claims and filling out required forms/reports.
  • Review and approve timecards in ADP.
Requirements
  • Understanding of insurance language and principles.
  • Experience with TAM or Epic insurance software.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work well with a team and pitch in when needed.
Education and Experience
  • A High school diploma, or GED.
  • Insurance license preferred.
  • Mathematical acumen.
  • Prior Insurance Experience required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Standing, walking, crouching, and regular lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Frequent use of hands and reaching with hands and arms.
  • Regularly talking, hearing, seeing, and sitting.
  • Moderate to loud noise level.
  • Risk of electrical shock.
