Cardiac Care Specialist

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care at a proficient level, utilizing your expertise in critical care and cardiac nursing. Your responsibilities will include preparing the environment, orienting and assessing patients, and reviewing medical records to ensure safety checklists are complete. You will also respond to life-threatening situations, utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment. In this role, you will work in a technically complex environment, providing nursing care with minimal supervision. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in critical care and cardiac nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. **Job Summary:**
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures
* Prepare the environment, orient and assess patients, and review medical records to ensure safety checklists are complete
* Respond to life-threatening situations, utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment
* Work in a technically complex environment, providing nursing care with minimal supervision
* Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction
**Requirements:**
* 2+ years of recent cath lab, or critical care, or cardiac RN experience
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification
