Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Social Worker to provide clinical services to patients in our residential treatment program. The successful candidate will possess a high level of clinical skills and personal qualities that allow them to be professional and at ease in a variety of interpersonal situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care as a clinical team manager to a designated number of patients.
  • Provide clinical team manager services to a designated number of patients, including individual and group therapy.
  • Share responsibility for supervising and facilitating the group therapy program.
  • Assist the Program Leader in reviewing referrals and coordinating with the admissions team.
  • Provide coverage for the Program Leader as needed.
  • Assist the Program Leader in overseeing psychiatric care, including documentation for all department agencies and regulatory compliance.
  • Meet with families for clinical discussions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Program Leader to set standards, policy, and procedure, and develop a positive culture in the unit.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and supervision for clinical staff, including nursing staff.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have five or more years of work experience in a psychiatric setting. Advanced graduate training and independent licensure are required due to evaluating fitness for admission, interacting with other clinicians, providing back-up coverage to Case Manager(s), and performing medical documentation.
