Maintenance Technician Job Description

**About the Role**

Precoat Metals is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Winsted Minnesota facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, repairs, and replacements of equipment parts, as well as performing preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Repair, replace, and reassemble defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
* Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings
* Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
* Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
* Work in a production role as necessary during maintenance slowdowns

**Requirements**

* 6 months to 1-year related experience required
* Experience with HV 480 electricity, cranes, hoists, and forklifts strongly preferred
* Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
* High School diploma or equivalent is required
