Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at Waste Management, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the operation of all plant systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Respond to system failures by taking prompt and effective corrective action to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Complete or assign repairs as needed to ensure that systems are operational and functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize plant operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, plant operations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
