Job Title: Paramedic Instructor

At Moraine Park Technical College, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic Instructor to join our team. As a Paramedic Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to students in the field of emergency medical services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency medical services, with a focus on patient assessment, airway and respiratory management, cardiac and pulmonary arrest management, and other critical skills. You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and effective lesson plans, as well as assessing student learning and providing feedback.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instruction and training to students in emergency medical services
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in emergency medical services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Provide support and guidance to students
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Wisconsin
  • Experience in emergency medical services, with a focus on patient assessment, airway and respiratory management, cardiac and pulmonary arrest management, and other critical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
