Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely delivery.
- Source products from branch inventory, distribution centers, or suppliers to meet customer demands.
- Identify and sell Motion Industries' assets to customers.
- Negotiate sale prices and purchase prices to maximize gross profit.
- Proactively generate sales by promoting Motion Industries' products to existing customers.
- Expedite backorders and prepare orders for shipment to customers.
- Handle customer returns and process orders up to $10,000 without approval.
- Adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
- Minimize branch freight costs by determining the most cost-effective method to fulfill customer orders.
- Routinely interact with customers to obtain and fulfill orders correctly.
- Partner with account representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of business systems.
- Good driving record required.
Benefits:
Motion Industries offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. The base pay range for this position is $16 - $21 hourly, with total compensation determined by factors such as location, skills, education, and experience.
