Snowmaker

A Snowmaker at Tamarack Resort is responsible for operating the Snowmaking system to prepare the ski area snow for skiing and snowboarding. This role requires excellent customer service skills, ability to work in all weather conditions, and physical stamina to lift and move equipment.

• Provide excellent customer service to customers, employees, and business partners.
• Assist in all snowmaking efforts, including operation of pump house and snowmaking guns and other equipment.
• Monitor weather and ski conditions to assist in the preparation of the daily ski report.
• Assist with snow removal, including shoveling and clearing snow from walkways, paths, and other areas as necessary.
• Communicate schedule, machine status, or other information with the rest of the staff.

• High school diploma.
• Snowmaking experience preferred.
• Valid Class C Driver License with a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by the Association insurance carrier.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
