We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Scientist to join our Health Sciences Practice in Austin, TX. As a key member of our team, you will lead projects related to toxicological evaluations, risk assessment, and risk communication for a wide range of products and chemicals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert toxicology services to clients, including evaluation of mechanism of action, dose response, and health hazard indices.
  • Lead projects, identify new clients, and develop new business opportunities in related Health Sciences areas.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build diverse teams.
  • Mentor and develop technical staff, providing project management and budget oversight.
  • Promote Exponent's multidisciplinary consulting expertise and your professional reputation through publishing, presenting, and serving on expert advisory committees.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Toxicology, Epidemiology, Pharmacology, Biostatistics, or related scientific field.
  • Certification in toxicology.
  • 10+ years of consulting experience with a proven track record of attracting new and repeat clients or funding.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept management abilities and demonstrated project management experience.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong commitment to professional development.
