About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Breast Imaging Technician to join our team at Paulding Hospital in Hiram, Georgia. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, shielding, and radiation protection.
  • Operate and maintain breast imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma and a Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology Required and currently ARRT registered.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Rad Tech Required and Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography Preferred.
  • ARRT Mammography, ARRT Radiography, Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Required.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
