Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures and evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring high standards of accuracy and precision.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including documentation of radioactive material usage and disposal.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal imaging results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and procedures, participating in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program preferred.
  • Registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Minimum one year of experience in nuclear medicine technology, with a strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment.
