Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast agents and other medications as needed.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
