Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated treatment plans that optimize function and quality of life.
- Conduct thorough examinations, including myotomes, reflexes, and sensation, to inform treatment decisions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors contributing to musculoskeletal conditions.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including pain medicine specialists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in musculoskeletal care.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Michigan.
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in musculoskeletal care, preferably in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
