Job Summary

The Porter/Lot Attendant is a key member of our Used Vehicle Services team, responsible for ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves pre-inspecting vehicles before customer delivery, conducting test rides, and performing minor repairs and adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exercising used vehicles on Ryder property to assure vehicles are road ready
  • Making recommendations and completing minor repairs and adjustments on Ryder's used vehicles
  • Recording findings and data in various Ryder systems and reporting to the Vehicle Sales Manager
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One year or more of mechanical and/or customer service experience
  • Two years or more of demonstrated mechanical experience/aptitude (preferred)
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications
