Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed takeoffs, encompassing master plumbing, pipefitting, and sheet metal expenses.
  • Solicit proposals from equipment suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Utilize historical data for conceptual estimating.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of the company's estimating system data.
  • Incorporate feedback from completed projects to enhance estimating accuracy.
  • Explore cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical and plumbing estimation, with a comprehensive understanding of HVAC and plumbing system components and installation techniques, particularly in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Design/Build experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with various estimating strategies and methodologies.
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, coupled with excellent planning and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze plans and specifications related to HVAC and plumbing projects.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
