As a part of our collaborative environment, this position emphasizes the importance of in-person interactions, fostering strong relationships through meaningful dialogue and personal connections. The role operates under a hybrid work model, necessitating three days in the office each week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into employment practices and management liability claims.
- Proactively manage intricate claims, including litigation and high-stakes cases.
- Deliver timely and precise coverage assessments while collaborating with legal counsel to strategize defense approaches.
- Analyze legal documents and motions pertinent to claims.
- Coordinate with coverage counsel on behalf of the insurer.
- Maintain consistent communication with claims leadership regarding case developments.
- Participate in or support mediation sessions related to litigation and coverage.
- Provide detailed reports to leadership on claims, including recommendations for reserves and action plans.
- Independently assess claim exposures within assigned financial authority.
- Engage in business-related activities such as team meetings and company events.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) preferred; a college degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in handling Management Liability and EPL claims is preferred, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise.
- Experience as an attorney is advantageous.
- Possession of an adjuster's license is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
- Strong analytical and technical skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Demonstrated proficiency in customer service, both internally and externally.
- In-depth knowledge of specialized claims handling, legal principles, civil procedures, and case evaluation.
- Experience in handling specialty claims, particularly in employment practices, is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
