Job Summary

Maverix Broadband is seeking a skilled Permit Technician to join our team. As a Permit Technician, you will be responsible for acquiring permits, maintaining permit compliance, and processing permits through the proper city/municipality to meet company deadlines.

This role requires a strong understanding of permitting processes and regulatory requirements at local, state, and federal levels. You will work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to understand project requirements and timelines, facilitating smooth project execution.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in permitting, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry. They will possess excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire permits and maintain permit compliance
  • Process permits through the proper city/municipality
  • Work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations
  • Prepare, submit, and track permit applications

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in urban planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in permitting
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve permitting issues efficiently and effectively

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in an office/home environment
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to drive to/from work sites and agencies
  • Ability to follow OSHA/State/Local Safety Standards

Compensation: $26.00/hr
