Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team at Webster Springs Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students with diverse needs and abilities, and will work closely with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach students with Multi-Cat (MI/LD/BD) and Autism endorsements in grades K-6 and 7-Adult.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.

• Collaborate with general education teachers to provide support and accommodations for students with special needs.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid WV Professional Teaching Certificate endorsed in Multi Cat (MI/LD/BD) K-6 & 7-Adult and Autism K-6 & 7-Adult.

• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
