About the Role

As an Ambulance Paramedic Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transport services to patients in need. Your expertise will be utilized to assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.

You will work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel to provide seamless care to patients. Additionally, you will operate ambulances safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and traffic laws.

Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth care transitions.

Responsibilities
  1. • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify needs and provide appropriate care.
  2. • Utilize medical equipment and techniques to deliver emergency services, ensuring safe and efficient patient transport.
  3. • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting treatment and care provided.
  4. • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery, prioritizing effective communication and teamwork.
  5. • Operate ambulances safely, adhering to company policies and traffic laws to ensure patient and crew safety.
  6. • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong relationships with local communities.
Requirements

To be successful as an Ambulance Paramedic Specialist, you must possess:

  1. • Be at least 18 years old.
  2. • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  3. • Possess a State Driver's License.
  4. • Hold a State EMT certification.
  5. • Possess CPR/BLS certification.
  6. • Have a driving record compliant with company policy.
  7. • Pass a Physical Ability Test (PAT).
  8. • Have some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base hourly rate of $17 per hour, which translates to an annual salary of $56,576 based on a full-time schedule.
