Salary and Benefits

$23.00 per hour is the competitive hourly rate for this position, which reflects our commitment to compensating our team members fairly for their skills and experience. Responsibilities
  • Scene Management: As an Emergency Medical Technician Lead, you will be responsible for assessing each call situation, determining the best course of action, and working with progressive protocols to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Paramedic Skills: You will utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide exceptional medical care.
  • Communication: Effective communication with patients and their loved ones is crucial, ensuring they receive accurate information and feel assured that care is being given.
  • Team Leadership: As a team leader, you will take responsibility for unit management, ensuring seamless coordination among team members and other healthcare professionals.
  • Driving and Operations: You will drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with fellow paramedics, allied health personnel, and public safety officers.
Other Responsibilities
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community programs to maintain a positive image and establish strong relationships with local residents.
Qualifications
  • Certifications: Hold a state Paramedic License, High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and a valid State Driver's License.
  • Work Experience: Some work experience, preferably in the healthcare sector, is required.
  • Driving Record: Maintain a driving record in compliance with company policy.
  • Physical Agility Test: Pass a physical agility test to ensure ability to perform duties.
