Job SummaryThis role requires 6-8 weeks of travel for training purposes, with all expenses covered by the company.
As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing job functions in Phlebotomy and may perform Medical History job skills as assigned and trained to complete.
Key Responsibilities- Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
- Answer phones within a reasonable timeframe.
- Perform all required duties in the area of Phlebotomy, including setup, verification, operation, and trouble-shooting of plasmapheresis equipment.
- Stock supplies, break down empty cartons, and assist with proper disposal.
- May perform all required duties in the area of Medical History, including coordinating donors to the donor floor and compensating donors using the Debit Card system.
- Production environment requiring the ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment sounds from a distance.
- Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens (risk level 1).
- Starting hourly wage reflecting the actual starting rate for this position.
