Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team at DispatchHealth Imaging. As a mobile ultrasound technologist, you will travel to various service locations to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to service locations, including private residences, skilled nursing homes, and correctional facilities, to perform ultrasound examinations.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe and effective delivery of services.
  • Demonstrate competency in the performance of portable ultrasound studies based on established company and industry protocols.
  • Upload required documents into company systems according to company protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as directed.
  • Ensure the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
  • Credentialed in medical sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
