Portable Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

As a Portable Ultrasound Technologist with DispatchHealth Management, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ultrasound examinations to patients in various service locations. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your skills and expertise to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to different facilities to perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Demonstrate expertise in performing portable ultrasound studies, adhering to industry standards.
- Perform sonographic examinations as ordered by physicians, maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving of equipment, promoting efficient operations.
- Orient new staff and train students, as requested, to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
- Credentialing in medical sonography by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
