Position Overview: Research Technician 2
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience to contribute to our research initiatives in tissue injury and pulmonary fibrosis. The selected individual will engage in both laboratory and translational research within a supportive and collaborative framework, employing various imaging, molecular, and metabolic methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling patient-derived cell and tissue samples as well as animal models
- Overseeing animal colonies, including breeding and genotyping processes
- Isolating and culturing both mouse and human cell lines
- Executing cell sorting procedures utilizing FACS technology
- Implementing imaging techniques for cells and tissues, such as fluorescence and confocal microscopy
- Applying advanced techniques in biochemistry and molecular biology
- Conducting standard laboratory protocols and managing data organization
The ideal candidate should possess the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, as well as effectively communicate research outcomes during laboratory meetings and contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of applicable experience
