Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will provide exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a casual position, offering flexible work hours and the opportunity to work at various facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Attend to the individual needs of residents, including assistance with personal and oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, and toileting.
  • Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report these changes to licensed nursing personnel.
  • Provide care that maintains each resident's skin integrity, including changing incontinent residents, turning, and repositioning immobile residents.
  • Answer residents' call bells promptly and courteously.
  • Perform various tasks assigned by the charge nurse, including vital signs, residents' weights, and applying creams/ointments.
  • Assist with orienting residents and their families to the nursing home upon admission and to the unit when transfers occur.
  • Lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Complete certified nursing assistant records, documenting care provided or other information in keeping with department policies.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, plus successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
  • A current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Wisconsin.
  • At least 6 months of experience in long-term care.
  • Reliable means of transportation and a negative TB test, valid within the last 6 months.
Compensation

Pay is determined based on years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The pay range is $22-$25 per hour. Midwest Clinical Resource, LLC is not a 1099 employer.
