Job Description

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Kensington, Maryland.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving quality of life.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication with clients and their families.
  • Educate clients and their caregivers on rehabilitative techniques and strategies to promote safe and independent living.
  • Accurately document client progress, interventions, and outcomes, utilizing electronic medical records.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in home health care.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software.
