Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Required to have or successfully complete American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation period.
  • Two years progressively more responsible CT Technologist work experience.
