Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Gonzer. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an integrated quality system that conforms to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the Quality department and Quality programs.
  • Work to improve quality of outgoing products.
  • Work to improve communication of customer requirements, resolve customer concerns, and promote quality throughout the organization.
  • Work closely to improve/maintain quality of raw materials/products.
  • Relationships with vendors and contractors required to maintain quality products and resolve quality issues.
  • Relationship with registrar & auditors required to obtain and maintain certifications.
  • Maintain a quality program conforming to ISO 9001:2015.
  • Oversee corrective action process.
  • Train & promote quality throughout the organization.
  • Lead quality improvement projects.
  • Oversee internal auditing.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related or relevant field preferred, or 5-7 years' experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years or more of progressive Quality Management experience in a manufacturing related environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Geometry and statistics skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of and extensive experience with ERP tools/principles.
  • Ability to partner with internal and external customers.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint software and applications.
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset and desire for action. Understanding of Lean principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shop orders, product specifications, and contract reviews.
  • Ability to read blue print and drawings.
  • Ability to write routine reports.
  • Exceptional project management skills including ability to create action plans and timelines, manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of strategic and operational planning.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems.
  • Self-starting with the desire to own and drive outcomes, with excellent ability to self-manage time and priorities.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial, and flexible professional approach. Ability to work in an organizational culture of high performance, employee involvement, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and influence at all levels of the organization.
