Site Director Opportunity

The Y in Central Maryland is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Director to lead our Head Start programs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive programs that meet the needs of our Head Start participants and families.
  • Family Engagement and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communication and Service Coordination: Effectively communicate with staff, families, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ongoing Monitoring, Human Resources, and Supervision: Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of program services, supervise staff, and provide coaching and support as needed.
  • Program Governance and Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring that program goals and objectives are met.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies, Child Development, Human Development, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an early learning center, with knowledge of OCC regulations and HSPPS preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid, CLASS Reliability, 45-Hour Director's Certification, and 90-Hour Certification if degree is not in a related field.
