This position is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Carilion Clinic, where we are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. As a Registered Nurse in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct age-specific admission and ongoing assessments to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to develop, implement, and evaluate an interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Administer treatments and medications accurately and document them using electronic medical records.
- Provide patient care that achieves optimum outcomes for patients of all ages.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
- Obtain CPR and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
- Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC) and successfully complete orientation and competency requirements.
