Job Title: Airframe Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Airframe Engineer to join our team at General Atomics and Affiliated Companies. As an Airframe Engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft structures by way of classical hand and finite element methods.
  • Generate documentation to report analysis and test results to support airworthiness certification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new aircraft systems.
  • Develop and implement new analysis methods and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural analysis and design.
  • Proficiency in NASTRAN or ABAQUS software.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
