Flight Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a Flight Test Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing flight tests to evaluate the performance and capabilities of emerging airframe, software, hardware, and payload systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical reviews and safety analysis on test plans, flight test run cards, and first article design packages
  • Work closely with System Design Engineers, Test & Evaluation pilots, and System Test & Qualification Engineers to ensure successful flight test execution
  • Independently perform technical reviews and safety analysis on test plans, flight test run cards, and first article design packages
Requirements:
  • Secret Clearance
  • 6 years of experience in an engineering-related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in flight test engineering
  • Aerodynamic training or Stability Control of Aircraft training
  • Possession of a Private Pilot license
