Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Associate to join our team at Round1. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of our Food and Beverage Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a point-of-sale (POS) register for food and drinks, including bar register transactions.
  • Prepare food and beverage items according to company policies and standards.
  • Reset and bus the food court seating area.
  • Wash and dry dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash till management and kitchen cleaning.
  • Manage food and beverage inventory according to store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
  • Manage plates, cups, and other utensil inventory according to store policies and procedures.
  • Conduct restroom checks and cleaning, including laundry of rags.
  • Respond to customer requests in a friendly and polite manner.
  • Occasionally operate the POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
  • Occasionally operate the POS system to collect payments and lend out facility and equipment, such as karaoke and billiards.
  • Occasionally operate the POS system to collect payments and issue cards and credits for arcade games.
Requirements
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment is preferred.
  • Experience in a bowling establishment is a plus, but not required.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly work in a bowling center/arcade environment with high levels of noise, dust, and activity. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands

The employee will regularly be required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee will need to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
