Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care, which encompasses assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cardiac evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Develop and execute personalized treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Prescribe medications, adjust dosages, and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, treatment options, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment strategies, and outcomes.
- Provide follow-up care to track patient progress, address concerns, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in cardiac care through ongoing education and professional development activities.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner:
- National certification from an accredited certifying body recognized by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

Physician Assistant:
- A baccalaureate degree with a minimum of two years of college credit or graduation from an ARC-PA approved program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure.
- BLS certification is required.

Education:
- Current certification as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
- State licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) is required.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in cardiology or a related field is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to interpret complex cardiac tests and imaging studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice in cardiac care.

Licensure/Certification:
- Current BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Experience:
- Previous experience in cardiology is preferred.
